[MOD CUT] There is nobody you can find that is "afraid" of Fox news, just as you won't find anyone "afraid" of cnn. The ratings are frightful in a sad way, because it means so many suckers are being force-fed News Corp propaganda, willfully. It also means that many people have not discovered the wonders of the internet, and choose to passively accept messages thrown at them.
We know the source of every single one of your unoriginal conservative opinions, there is no plural. If Fox News disappeared tomorrow, you wouldn't have a single thing to say. I guarantee that if you have not heard it on Fox, you won't hear it from a conservative in a "debate." It all springs from the same fountain. This thread is highlighting the sad state of conservative media. One source? That's it? Wouldn't you like a second opinion once in a while? Or would that just be too many options to deal with?

It's so interesting that right wingers ALWAYS take any critical opinion to represent fear. I ain't no psychologist, but even I can see there's tremendous projection there.
Sad but funny. The right will never understand that since fear drives their own lives, they think it must drive everyone else's.
Excellent response. There's a huge fear among people who call themselves conservatives these days. It's drives a lot of their political viewpoints: Fear of Muslims, fear of gays, fear of socialism, fear of illegal immigrants, fear of someone taking their guns away, etc.
And I'm not really making fun of conservatives or trying to demean them. Studies show that fear is what makes a person more or less conservative. On the other hand, liberals don't carry as much fear in their minds, and admittedly, this sometimes gets them into trouble.
I think it shows liberals are intolerant of a diversity of ideas. What are you afraid of? It's especially troubling on college campuses. You bug out when conservative speakers, speak publicly, You don't see conservatives throwing pies at liberal speakers on a college campus or rioting in the streets during the Democrat convention.

Have conservatives tried to have laws written or looked into regulations to have the FCC silence Mr Tingle Up My Legs? Did President Bush or Tony Snow mention Keith Olbermann or Anderson Cooper or the cable companies that employ them as not real news channels? Did President Bush that they were always picking on him? Did he try to kick any channels out of the pool for interviews? Is there any conservative Internet news site that does a column every single day on Ed Schultz or Rachel Maddow? Have you read a post by anyone here who says they watch someone on MSNBC just for kicks because it isn't real news?
I do think you libs includiong POYUS are scared when you dominate the media and yet one TV news channel or talk radio makes you wet your panties.
So you watch Rachel Maddow, CNN and PBS for news as well as FOX? I think we all tend to gravitate towards those news programs that we enjoy. If you enjoy Beck, fine, watch away! I don't care for him, and I'm not going to spend my limited time watching him.
on the contrary. I don't fear any of those things. no one will take my guns away, because I will shoot them. I don't fear gays, mostly because I don't have a lot of exposure to them. all the ones I know, I used to work with, and they were all cool guys/girls. I don't fear illegal immigrants. again, most of the ones I have met have been good people, but laws are laws, and they do more harm than good, especially in this economy. I don't fear muslims at all, however I find most overly religious people to be a little strange to begin with.

scared of olbermann? nah, he's just a hateful idiot. he's a left wing rush limbaugh. he says outlandish crap to get ratings, and to get a response out of people. he's an opportunist. an entertainer, out to make a buck. I don't watch him for the same reasons I don't watch people like hannity. same old partisan crap, and it was old in 1990.
