When did it get to be against the law to act like an idiot? I completely disagree with your assessment of the situation but the bigger issue is that Americans have the right to express their personal opinions in non-violent and non-threatening ways. Trying to muzzle this man who had every right to speak (or write, in this case) his opinion is screamingly un-constitutional.

The right to free speech is important. But so is the right for ordinary people not to be harassed.

No.

He was on private property that had rules regarding political displays at the event, which he violated.

He had a loaded weapon, which also wasn't allowed.

He also had others complaining to security that he was disrupting the entertainment.

You dont lose your freedom of speech just because of the location you are in

Why was the Pro Obama stands ok? Didnt you hear the people talking about how come the people selling shirts in support of Obama was allowed? So obviously something political on display is allowed.

OMG someone disrupting someone else is grounds to be locked up? Watch out because I am sure you disrupt people say in the movies when you talk or of you speak to loud or play your music to load.

Police eventually arrested the man and took him away after they discovered that Hill was carrying a loaded weapon in violation of fair rules. The fair’s Dean Phipps says the fairgrounds are private property, and visitors are subject to those rules.

“We feel like we responded appropriately,” Phipps said. “Because we are the state fair, everyone thinks we're part of the State of Alaska. We're not -- we're a non-profit.”

Phipps says there are several other political groups at the fair, but they all have to follow rules -- including staying within an assigned booth, and not walking around in the open like Hill was. “They aren't allowed to walk up and down the aisle or congregate in public places, particularly when it’s interfering with the fairgoers’ experience,” Phipps said.
where does it say he was "foaming at the mouth"?

An event on private property can certainly makes rules dictating whether or how political protests can be held.

The other political stuff being sold from booths, which is where the rules established it can be done from.

You know what would happen if you went to the movies and started yelling political protests? They'd kick you out, and if you fought them over it you'd be arrested on similar charges to this guy.

That was my description from the watching video. I hilighted the quoted text from the article in blue in an attempt to differentiate me from article, I hate to use the quote feature with other sources since then it looks like something another poster said.

It was for a public event.

There was political stuff there that was pro Obama.

Someone shouldnt be jailed for using their free speech. IE say the movies. Be asked to be removed cool. Jailed No. To many are using " distributing the peace" Just remove the person and let it go.
Heil Hitler
