Its another sad, failing attempt (where it had worked so many times before) to cast the right as bigots. Its basically guilty until proven innocent. It manifests itself when whites have to prove themselves not racist (and how do you do that, anyway?). See: some of my best friends are white.
My personal favorite of when white libs are put on the spot, they come out of nowhere and say " I'm not racist I have many black and Hispanic friends" Treating us like some trophy to be proud of, it makes me SICK being used like that!

Get a dictionary. Look up the term, "impose."
My judgement of that being racist rubbish in no way imposes my morality on you. My opinion does not infringe on your right to free expression. You are completely free to try to convince yourself and others that it's not racist. You can continue to freely spout racist viewpoints on this and other forums, if you desire.
Where are the conservative voices speaking out against hate? Telling us to be thankful for American freedom, and welcoming of others who want to share those freedoms?
Does the hatred have a common element, perhaps fear, or a natural distrust of others?
How can bile be such a popular elixir for so many Americans?

My hubby and I often joke about our kids' friends and in turn our friends. We say geeze, don't you have any white friends?
We are white, but our friends are mostly not. We don't look at our friends as color, we look at them as friends. We have friends that are good people. And good people come in all colors.

I'm in a mixed race marriage with a cute little guy to show for it.
That said I want much smaller government, far fewer government employees and a social safety net which mostly will only cover the disabled and elderly.
We also need a balanced budget amendment.
To me this is being rational and has zero hate in it.

I believe that Conservatives have no choice. Their policies suck and are ineffective. They are a severely regressive bunch, trying to undo the 20th century, while the world strives to advance and progress. This society is increasingly multicultural and international in flavor, which slams against the typical Conservative's preference for racial intolerance, ignorance, and bigotry.
The last time they were truly happy, slavery existed. Hard being positive when you live in a world which has left you behind by centuries, and the only people you get along with are other Conservatives.
