I'm just shocked, being from South Carolina and all.

Shocked, I tell you.

Did I mention that I was shocked?

Silly me...I thought it was Kentucky where "'tis summer, the darkies are gay." Sure, they changed it to "the people are gay," but that starts an entirely new problem...for straight folk in Kentucky.

Is this the part where I'm supposed to say "that's racist"?

Quote:
One shocking moment at the NFRW meeting involved a special event called “The Southern Experience.” In this event, attendees dressed in clothing reminiscent of the Civil War and the antebellum South.
Well they're historically correct, even if it's "politically incorrect" in 2010.

It's think progress, they may have only got the "Confederate soldier" part right. Other than that, everything else is "Conservatives are teh ev0L!" on that site.

You know many times when it comes to thinking ahead or just thinking "it" out both Democrats and Republicans seem completely stupid to understanding the concept of showmanship or what's the word for tactics in presenting yourself to the public or media?, can't remember right now.

Anyway, if a president or first lady is going on a vacation specially in hard times for the country, you would think they would spin it as something as official business instead of a vacation opening themselves up to being grilled.

And here we have Republicans specially southern already battling the notion about them being "racist" and what do they do?. Open themselves to spin and propaganda for their counterparts to grill them.

Who are these people's public relations experts? Do these people not have the foresight to think ahead that "ugh this may make me look bad"?
