All of them.

He's right to laugh. I want states rights as much as anyone, but what you're suggesting is more than just decentralization.

We can start with The Department of Education which is a joke and has done nothing but let this nation slide backward against the rest of the world as far as education is concerned.

That power absolutely must be dispearsed to the local Governments so we can get our students' academic performances competitive again.

A conservatives wet dream would be that the Fed would only be responsible for Defense.

There's no way in hell that this dream will true.

Over the next 10-20 years, with the repubs eventually making it to the office, government will not shrink.

The US system is way too large for reduction.

I still have yet to read about any government programs. Only the government itself.

The Constitution. If it ain't enumerated as a FEDERAL responsibility it is left to the States or the people.

More importantly, when this question is posed to Republican politicians and talking heads they NEVER answer it. Like they have no intimate knowledge of the Federal budget, and are used to just uttering the usual anti-spending slogans.

I gained alot of respect for John McCain, at least he admitted alot of Defense spending could be cut.
