I am over 65 and I had a young driver smack into my rear end at a red light while preoccupied with a cell phone. Should I say that all people under 65 should be tested annually?

The OP has an axe to grind with one senior lady not the bulk of good senior drivers.

I have yet to see a senior driving while texting, gabbing on a phone, putting make up on, or eating a three course meal while trying to drive at 70 mph. But I have seen people younger than 65 doing it.

This is an unfortunate but REAL issue. This issue is not about wrecklessness, suspend ANYONE of their driving privilege for that, this issue is about incompetence. An annual exam would take care of that. If it must be for everyone if you think that will be more fair, then so be it.

To make it fair, how about the test for everyone every 5 years?
