I really just do not want to say. I felt so sorry and had so much compassion for this woman a couple weeks ago. I was horrified when this happened. She was such a beautiful girl so I am dumbfounded. I am mentally ill myself, but I would never do such a thing. Don't ask me why, but I still feel sorry for this girl. Once she realizes what she has done she will see she ruined her whole life...
This young "Christian" woman lacked the compassion for her own family and also for the potential random Black woman that could have been rounded up, jailed and prosecuted as her acid throwing "attacker".
She had the awareness to create this little charade so I seriously doubt that her "mental illness" was severe. And she has commited a crime: filing a false police report, making false statements to law enforcement. She tied up valuable law enforcement resources investigating her farce. Not to mention people she scammed who set up the monetary fund to help her with medical expenses and the like. Her intent was clear.
In her words.....
As reported by CNN affiliate KATU, Bethany Storro said "God is watching over me. I believe in him. That his hands are on me and I can't live the rest of my life like that - in fear. I can't let what she did to me wreck my life."
This young woman, in the name of God, would have let an innocent woman be arrested, prosecuted and even convicted for this "crime". This woman's actions are a complete throwback to the days when a Black person could be lynched based solely on the word and accusation of a White person.
This woman claimed to be a Christian yet she had no qualms about potentially taking away the freedom and liberties of a random "phantom" Black woman acid thrower.
