Well, if Mr. Hypersensitivity is doing the "reading" of my statement, then I guess anything could be misconstrued as racist.
Did I mention how much I can't stand my white husband who has yellow fever? He sure has horrible taste in women... wonder why he picked a racist to marry?
are you liberal? Do you know you've just been taken for a ride?
Some do... and some discriminate against whites. Not in the sense that they find them inferior, but they just can't muster up an ounce of attraction towards any other race.
What I meant is that I don't see Asian women discriminating against blacks or Latinos any more or less than they do against non-Latino whites.
As for Asian fetishes, those are very rampant amongst gay men as well as straight men....
I know you're thinking, another race thread. People say "Come on! It's 2010! Who cares?". But still, that means nothing.
I've been reading a lot of racist comments regarding interracial relationships, mostly between non-white men and white women. But I've also heard that white men get flock too for being with a certain race. So it comes to show that 95% still have a problem with it, even in the USA.
To people, they think just because it's 2010 that times have changed. But it looks like a rerun to me, like the 1930s are replying itself.
So in your opinion, do you think interracial relationships are becoming more unaccepting or more acceptable?
Oh and don't forget that this is the internet and a message board and people seem to say things that they wouldn't say in the offline world. So, someone showing that they have a problem on here, probably won't show that they have a problem offline, which means people in interracial relationships don't have to take their time to tell the racist people to talk-to-the-hand.
Basically the litmus test is if you have no issues whatsoever with a member of your family dating or marrying someone of another race. And there can't be any exceptions like "as long as they're not *insert race here*."
Believe me when I tell you that you can't judge what "most people" think by what you read on here. I swear I hadn't heard the kind of "ideas" expressed by some on here since the 1950s. And even then they weren't expressed by any decent people in such nasty terms.
I seriously do not know ANYONE in "real life" who is against inter-racial relationships.

There are many out there against certain interracial pairings. You don't see it much because the internet is where a person can express their true feelings and remain somewhat anonymous. Millions of people are online users.
Where did you come up with the 95% figure because it is quite contrary to the data.
That chart is sad. Course I do wonder what kind of neighborhood did they poll in? If it was a mixed neighborhood then those people would be used to seeing these kinds of "relationships". If it was an all black or all white or all hispanic one then they wouldn't they would date among themselves.
