Doesn't matter. Either would probably quit after a couple of months to go on a speaking tour and pretend that twitter and facebook are their best ways to reach the nation. Of course they would blame it on the "progressives".

Both have great SNL contemporaries though I'd prefer Boehner in that regard.

First off the tea party is a flash in the pan...just as in ny 23 i think most races where they have pushed the natural canidate out they will end up losing. So their credibility goes out the window. Second there is no way there would vote in a 2 term congressman as the second most powerful person in the country. Yes it was done when the speaker had no power but isn't done in the modern age. Most republicans wouldn't support her and the 20 or so goofballs that would wouldn't be enough to push her through. And hey if it does happen and they do split the support the democrats might end up with the speaker.

John Boehner was raised by a Catholic family in Ohio. He was the oldest of his siblings (I forgot how many, like 10 of them).

He worked at the family bar to help make ends meet, while taking care of his brothers and sisters for his mom and dad while they worked at the bar at night. He worked his way through college, it took him a very long time to pass, because he couldn't attend full time like most kids, because he was working for his tuition.

Compare that to a self righteous idiot who will only alienate half of the population, and hasn't had to struggle for anything her entire life.

Give me Representative Umpalumpa any day of the week.

I may not agree with everything that John Boehner says and does, but at least he's a leader.

Default Make This a Reality!

If you are a concerned citizen like us, then you will not sit back and watch our hard work to take back our country be wasted if we take back the House and let the Washington, DC establishment RINOs dictate to us who OUR "Speaker" will be! When Bailout Boehner voted for the $800 billion government bailout he spoke for himself plenty, and as a result he will NEVER "Speak" for us!

Demand Real Leadership, NOT THE RINOs that have made DC their home

I hope your campaign gains huge momentum over the next couple of weeks. It'll insure that Democrats keep the House.

I think the repubs will make a mistake if they choose Bachman. It will look like they abandoned Boehnor, and also a bad attempt to win over female voters.

Bachmann is a loon. With that in mind, if Republicans take the House, I'd prefer that the straight-out-batguano-crazy Bachmann take the reins so the GOP can really own all this craziness from the extreme.

We only have a choice between an idiot and a lunatic?

If those are the only choices in the GOP, I would rather write in a golden retriever.

At least when it does something dumb it looks cute and contrite.

If we put either of these two into power, we deserve whatever hell we get for it.
