The word hate is thrown around a lot in this forum so I just thought I would ask: What makes you hate something or someone in general? I hope I'm phrasing this correctly.
When it's deliberately mean, cruel, or insensitive, and/or after it remains steadfastly ignorant or violent despite repeated attempts to enlighten and inform. The hatred is usually temporary, however, as I believe all people will eventually come around to being rational, though as I age, my hope diminishes. I continue to resist the temptation to "throw it all away" and join the troglodytes that form the majority of our population, "troglodyte" meaning those people who dive into the pool of raw emotion and mistake it for an ocean of reason. My mind will not get sucked down into that abyss.
I was looking on another thread and this tiny little thing padcrasher insulting a solder equaling the comment baby killer.
That type of thing makes me hate a human. I use human because I lack another word with out getting vulgar.
As far as general things I would categorize things that I hate as when a person, or group can not listen or accept different ideas. I welcome debate because that's how we form not only a position but also policy How ever that's dose not include the person as an individual. I hate Nancy Pelosi the Senator but not Mrs. Nancy Pelosi the person.
I also hate when im chewing my nails and my finger slipps off my tooth and jams my gums but thast probably not what you were refering to
