What would conservatives want if we went fascist? Because that is the much more likely scenario to happen in America via GOP.

History shows that communism occurs, not during democracies, but when nations go totalitarian, into corporatist, fascist, & oligarchist modes. That is why Banana Republics are ALWAYS trying to go communist. That is why Banana Republics are ALWAYS trying to keep the people down.

You do not know what fascist means. It means corporatist, corporate takeover of government. Unfortunately, the corporations were "too big to fail" under BOTH administrations. Bush did bail-outs without govt oversight, Obama did bail-outs WITH government oversight. The corporations had more power under Bush (that is corporatist), and are being regulated and watched now under WE THE PEOPLE (that is democracy).
Abortion is a seperate issue, has nothing to do with communism & fascism, but a realing bad SCOTUS ruling.

I believe that socialism would eventually lead to communism. If we give too much control to the gov't, it would eventually turn into it.
But the point is...if a socialist state is the ultimate goal of libs....what then? What would they do? I don't believe they'd be happy with it. Would they cry out for yet MORE gov't control? Or would they turn conservative?

They realize it. That's why none of them will touch their "accomplishments" during this election period. As soon as it's over if they retained power it'll be back to the grind...
