Credit to Obama for stopping the impending disaster. But we need a Progressive Liberal to rebuild our economy, sustain our environment, forge ahead with our future, etc

A progressive is the last thing we need unless you want to return to segregation and class warfare.

The situation with the unemployed in irrelevant in this contrast. We are not discussing unemployment numbers, which will remain high for several years, we are discussing the economy as a whole. The economic situation now is alot better than it was back in January of 2009, but it will be a long way to go until we have happy days again. Bush isn't to blame for the economic fiasco, economic downturns are a natural occurrence. He gets credit for TARP, just as Obama gets credit for the stimulus, financial reform, and such. It took a while, but I think that the Reaganomic's era of trickle down economics is officially over.

Darn, our managers didn't get that memo, they laid off some folks last week.

Oh wait, my bad, last year they laid off 500 employees this year only 50. Yup recession is over. Now those 550 folks can suck up some unemployment benifits along with the free healthcare that is law but not in service and enjoy those beautiful tax cuts for the midlle class. Ya gotta love it! (Result? Credit to Obama.)

what surplus?????

what you call a surplus, is something the USA will never have until the national debt is paid off, so please stop calling it a surplus.

and pbo tackled the problem by spending more money than all the rest of the presidents combined.

where is that transparency pbo promised? I am still waiting for that to happen.
