This is a surprise? It is exactly what Wall Street and large American companies wanted and got, thanks to the Fed over a period of 30 years.

Just another sign that this country is slipping in the game of global competitiveness. We've got a small window of time to get our *** together and start turning things around. The longer we take to address our issues the more time and money it will take to turn things around.

Probably a good thing. The economy needs to downsize.

Thanks to three Decades of Conservative ideology saying we need to "deregulate" every industry including the financial markets. ( You know because government can't do anything right) We now have a financial system and markets the World trusts far far less. They are looking to the EU for safety now.

You know all those "socialists" and their silly, effective rules on fraud.

The downgrading of USA is a result created by many factors,
one of which is indeed the anti-business attitude of the "progressives",
who unfortunately have taken over the Dems,
demolishing the "New /DLC Dems"...

For instance, who will invest in a fund for...offshore oil drilling in USA ..?

The US companies owners are not patriot enough to invest in the USA. Once their companies are succesful, they move the manufacturing and administrative jobs overseas in order to cut expenses (greedy Basterds) leaving thousands of us nationals unemployed. For example: Just give a call to Dell's customer service; an Indian (India) guy named "Mike" or "John" will respond your call.

Take a look at the back side of your Ipod/Iphone

"Made in China and Designed by Apple in California"

lol... thousands of Jobs for the chinese and a few jobs for the exclusive californian group of engineers that designed the Ipod.
