Oooh, and there was the time the the Rs refused to pass the budget and they shut down the government, or did you forget?

I know a little about this because it's part of my job.

The US Federal Budget for 2010 was released today, February 26,2009. Which was NEVER signed by Congress.

No, I reflected on History.

Do a little research on "Return to Normalcy"

What was the cause of it, and what did it do?

We could ALL learn from history, if you only knew it existed.

you can't find what you don't look for. check out the accomplishments thread I started on Obama... there were 100 items on it. the accomplishments are long. despite your desire for failure.

In a rapid fire rate Obama has passed a staggering amount of legislation. Now if he will only end the war and create a green industry.

Nothing says success to a liberal/progressive like staggering amounts of legislation.

So, you think Bill Clinton balanced the budget? Really???

No, it was the Republican controlled House of Reps, with Newts Contract with America, to be accountable.

We've had 10 years of the same failed policies( 8 from Bush, 2 of the same under Obama, not to mention Clinton), so we've got to do something different. Cutting spending is now unavoidable. Closing the borders to illegals is also unavoidable, at least politically for both parties. People are demanding jobs and there aren't enough to spare for illegals.
Obama may barricade himself in the White House and say " No No No." but nobody will be paying him much attention.

Here is what I find pathetic. Democrats go on and on about how republicans are the party of no ideas

So now republicans are releasing their ideas and plans and now you all slam them for releasing them

You all cant have it both ways. You cant bash them for not putting forth solutions or plans and then bash them for putting out solutions ideas lol

There is a link on the page so you can read the full text and the article summarizes each item. It is very specific on EXACTLY what they plan to do, should they win. The "spending" related ones are particularly interesting.

Same **** different day. Cut taxes, reduce government oversight, do whatever possible to limit abortion.

Basically cater to the needs of the rich and try to tell people how to run their lives based on Christian principles.
