I can't argue with you. Many have let so much sin, liberal garbage in their doors that they are no better that the liberals they so chastise.
They preach the gospel of prosperity and forget that the wages of sin are death. Their is little distinction between them and the liberals they so feverishly criticize. Sin is sin not matter where it is. The church needs to purge itself of the garbage that liberalism has brought into Christianity.
Mega Churches have become the scourge of Christianity. I am not referring to all of them but it is obvious if you have any understanding of Christ and his teachings you will know who they are. If Jesus were alive today he would be turning over a lot of tables and chasing a lot of money changers out of churches.

Eddie Long and his Attorney's will probably pay off the persons making the allegations and settle out of court with stipulations never to discuss the matter again. Things have been quiet for the past couple of days; because I'm sure they are in discussions with the Plaintiffs Attorneys for a settlement. All will get paid and you will never know or see the details of the allegations. This is about to be washed under the bridge.
In many ways Eddie Long continuing his crusade against homosexuality. Now the headlines will be full of another perverse, abusive self-loathing closeted homosexual, further reinforcing the idea some have that gay people don't engage in normal, healthy relationships.
Whether innocent or guilty, the folks who always loved him will continue to love (pray for) him and the people always hated him will continue to hate (hate on) him. Love/Hate for this guy has nothing to do with this current situation.
