Same country that banned Micheal Savage. I guess the British have turned into a big bag of *******. I never thought I'd see the day when the country that survived the Nazi Blitz would turn into a bunch of wimps. God save the Queen because Britannia is dead.

Britian is turning into a 3rd world s-hole. About what you expect when Sharia law takes control of a significant portion of the population. Why would anyone expect protections of individual liberties and freedoms.

I think that this has to be put into context .....

There is a significant groundswell of hostility in the UK (much more so than in the US) towards muslims and this is more apparent in the north of the country where this act took place. This groundswell is evidenced by the increased support for the BNP at the last election. The UK authorities are clearly concerned about acts which could provoke a chain reaction of provocation and counter provocation leading to inter-community disorder.

You see the same thing in the west of Scotland with regard to relations between catholics and protestants where an ordinary breach of the peace can be "aggravated" if it had sectarian motives. In my view the catholic/protestant thing is overstated but the hostility towards muslims is not.
