How is the TEA party any different from the typical GOP? (Besides being even more noisy) They stand for fiscal conservative values with a focus on conservative stances on abortion and marriage. So
How are the TEA partiers going to be any different than the current Republicans? How is this party going to be any different than the one of the Bush era?

The tea party is an ultra-right religious version of the republicans. Karl rove himself called one of them a loon which really speaks volumes. The right are throwing a fit not being in full control of the country and are trying anything in a desperate attempt to get it back, and hijacking the tea party is what they are doing.

Smaller Government! Bush was a Republican and did nothing yet take more power from the state and the people and gave more power to the federal government not to mention the "patriot" act.

Actually I believe a lot like the tea party does and I am not a Christian so you are just throwing accusations around because you don't like the tea party. I know its hard for a liberal to actually try and take care of themselves and not let the government do it for them but time to get over it. I am not one to throw accusations around because the way your democrats are destroying the country but the people not just republicans can see that the country is going to hell. Oh and btw its people that vote democrat and third party that want what the tea party wants as well.

They're same old wolf in wolves' clothing...Sarah Palin is a Neocon, and Tea Party is corporatist-backed by Koch Brothers, Rupert Murdoch, Dick Armey, etc

The first thing you have to get is the TEA Party is NOT one party it does not have Party lines or a alliance with a certain party!

It depends on how you look at things. The original tea party was much different than the current amalgamation. And the Republican party has shifted from the more neo-con/Bush version(which passed TARP and social reforms such as expanding medicare and no-child-left-behind). To a more lean platform because of the tea partiers. In a sense, the Republicans have even become the anti-war party?

Right now politics have gone just absolutely crazy. Our country is extremely divided. Unless a miracle happens with the economy, I just don't see much hope for the future of this country.

I see te tea party has a movemnt and nt a party. It bascailly has gown out of the deficits in both the republican and democratics party spending. It got its biggest boost by Obama's 1.2 trillion dollar deficit spending in 11 months. It has however actually support candidates against the rebublican incumbents. There are people with varied interest just like the democrats and republicans but that is the main focus .For a movement that started not long ago they have had dramatic results with voters many of which are independents.Fiscailly it is much more conservative than the republcian leadership calling for mnay more cuts to spending and has shifted politcs of mnay i both parties to the right more.

I agree. A lot of people wilfully misinterpret what the Tea Party is all about. People on the left, right and right down the middle are fed up and angry with Washington.

Bush kept an unpopular war going and let party discipline get away from him as senators like Ted Stevens and his Bridge to Nowhere abused the earmark process.

Obama suckered us with Hope and Change and instead siphoned off stimulus funds to bolster his buddies in the unions while Pelosi and company railroaded America with a healthcare bill the majority didn't want.

Obama's economic policies have only deepened and lengthened the recession and even if you can find a job, you can't sell your house if you have to move.

The Tea Party is all about voter anger at politicians who give lip service to their constituents while ignoring what they really want. Throw the bums out.
