It's been fun watching Republicans claim the stimulus would never create jobs then seeing them write the president in private asking for stimulus money admitting it would create tons of jobs in their districts. Now, most politicians are born liars but Republicans take lying to a whole new level. It's like they know their followers are too stupid to fact check their lies and so they have no shame.

That stimulus was never meant to fund PERMANENT jobs.
Unemployment was never meant to be a PERMANENT salary replacement.

Eyes need to be opened to the NEW America and adjust. We will not return to the "good ole days".

Better yet maybe you can join Colbert at their Bankruptcy hearings and entertain their Creditors.

That stimulus was never a stimulant since it never stimulated anything. If it were, we wouldn't have to stimulate the economy again. It would already be stimulated.

BO's a tool.

There are more illegals here than there are unemployed Americans. At least some people should be smart enough to do the math.

I think this clearly needs to be extended so these people don't get laid off for the second time in one year.
The democrats have spent over one trillion dollars trying to stimulate jobs for people. They may as well have taken $1.5 trillion and given it to the 12 million unemployed, they sure as hell would have had better results.
