Because they are on the take from corporates.

Come on, really, why is anyone surprised?

Follow the money!

Or perhaps it's because of who created this bill? They are not liked right now.

Which party benefits more from Americans dependent on give-away-programs?

If it is so easy to get on all these "Give Away" programs why am I still working? I am working because I am not desperately poor for the poverty programs or tremendously rich enough for corporate welfare.

Note that there are NO amendments, nothing tacked on, no lard. It's just a straight up bill.

this is more typical garbage out of DC....lots of word, that will accomplish nothing....it wont realy prevent jobs from leaving..and it will do nothing to bring back the 40 million jobs that have left since 1993 to present

So, you think this bill ought to be voted down in favor of something better later?

Why does it have to be one or the other? What not this bill PLUS those other things?

The truth is that the Republican's would oppose this bill no matter what was in it or not in it. Their corporate donors don't like it, so down the tubes it goes. Worse, if they gain control of either House of Congress in November, you'll never see a bill like this submitted again.

The People will continue to suffer the loss of their livelihoods in the name of increased corporate profit and not one, single Republican member of the Senate will give a damn.

Remember that on election day.

All career politicians are on the take, when it comes to special interest payoffs.
That is why when our nation was founded and how our government was a circle of checks and balances. You had the special interests, the States and the federal government. All with a check and a balance on one another.

No longer are the States interests in the picture. Special interest elects State Senators. Special interest elects House members and special interest elects Presidents. There is no longer a checks and balances system. You get what ever special interest want you to get, so it favors them and not the people that are led to believe, they are in control of what happens.
You can thank the Progressive Era for that and the big government freedom grab 100 years ago.
Referred to as liberal ever since, because Progressives were hated after that mess, they finally got the courage to take the mask off as Obama came into office.
Once again, the hatred for Progressive freedom grabbing is coming back and the American people are more informed than ever. Will we ever be able to kill Progressive thinking? Probably not, but we can put them back in the shadows where they are scare to death to voice their I know better than you attitude. American Freedom, what is it really and what exactly did we fight a Revolution with Britain for.
Why are we going back to government having more power than the people?

Can't say that for the Progressive traitors.
What BS attachments?? Stillkit posted the full text of the bill. What exactly do you have problems with?

Secondly, didn't the GOP complain that they weren't allowed Amendments and attachments to the Military spending bill? You know things like Senator Cornyn (R-Texas) little pet project that he wanted to shove into the bill that he wasn't able to get??
