Beck Backlash: One Nation Rally Union Coalitions Busing in Astro Turf Members to Show Up Beck & Tea Party | The Blaze
It appears you might be a little out of sorts if people are being bussed in. There's nothing unusual for this type of thing, is there?.

Americans for Prosperity did it for Beck's rally.... for example:
BUS PACKAGE Deal to DC – Glenn Beck Restoring Honor Rally | Augusta Tea Party (http://www.augustateaparty.org/bus-package-deal-to-dc-glenn-beck-restoring-honor-rallydefending-the-dream-summit/ - broken link)

So did Freedom Works.... for example:
Events - FreedomWorks Tea Party Group

So, corporate sponsored (which FreedomWorks and Americans for Prosperity are) groups do it... why not labor?

It's going to be quite a "show" - probably bazillions of folks (gleefully reported by our intrepid media) will get there one way or another, even if they have to crawl. Have they announced what charity they are donating to with this extravaganza? Should be a huge donation - Beck only donated a little over half a Million for his one man promoted rally. He wasn't even sure anyone would actually show up.

One Nation reports over 400 organizations are involved in their rally - interesting group.

These are some of the more than 400 organizations, representing tens of thousands of individuals who have endorsed the One Nation Working Together campaign. Join this historic moment: ( http://action.onenationworkingtogether.org/partners - broken link)

I certainly agree with the "historic" part - I guess I never thought I would see any "rally" like this in my lifetime - filled with Socialist party members, far leftist groups and the Communist party, supported openly by the President of the United States of America.

Do union members really agree with all this?
NOT my father's union for sure, looks like "change" has really come to America.

As The Hill reports, the Democratic National Committee’s Organizing for America (OFA), which works to support and build off of Obama’s policies, sent out an e-mail blast supporting the upcoming rally. The message bills the event as “the biggest progressive demonstration in decades.”

The Hill is a major source of news for Washington, D.C. - they are reporting that the free buses are rolling.

What strange times we live in. Who would have ever thought we would come to something like this?

Stop posting facts. They didn't know. It suppose to be a secret. SSSHHHHHH

Beck did it all on his own.

@Quick Enough.....My union never ask me whom I'm voting for.

That's what their union dues are for, to pay for any rally that pushes an agenda for the Democratic Party.

As long as it is a PRO-LABOR agenda

If you really want union campaign financing to stop, then it has to stop for corporate and special interests too.

Public Campaign Financing is the only way to do this.

Thank you for getting back to me.

I apologize if I didn't make myself clear. I was asking if your union polled the membership to see who the union should support.

Getting to the mall area when a big event is going on is almost impossible if you plan on driving your car to the event. buses and subway are the only option, most sponsors of events set up some sort of bus service,no big deal

Other unions probably do the same as its required by law. Any member who doesn't know where their union dues goes is a member who doesn't bother read the annual report.

And OP, what is wrong with the union busing members into its rally in Washington? The One Nation rally has an important statement to make for working men and women. They are they are focusing on three big unifying ideas: jobs, justice and education.
I am very happy to see them offering to bus their members there because it indicates that they know they can't outnumber Beck without playing that game.

In case you didn't know Beck said Monday that he hoped they got 2 million people. Of course, he was smiling pretty big when he said that. Have you looked at the website for that rally? Check it to see how many downright socialist organizations are involved in it. Actually I consider most national unions to be pretty socialist though. You may even find that the CPUSA is also involved. I wouldn't want to belong to a union knowing that they were involved, but then . . . . . . . .

Never been polled by my union.

I never thought that the progressive Democrats would be caught dead at a rally that the CPUSA was attending. Yep, you can find all about this thing on their website.

Hang in there and watch what comes from the right about the President of the United States being willing to support something that all kinds of socialist groups will be at and even the Communist Party. I think he shoots himself in the ass with this one but maybe not.

I would be resigning from the NEA right now if I still belonged. My wife will be retiring this year or I would demand that she stop paying union dues to the NEA this month.
