It would be interesting to get some "person on the street" opinions from those living in England, France and Germany about the danger in their midst.
I wonder if cries of "Islamophobe" get hurled at those that are hostile to the growing number of Jihadists that want to murder them and their families over there.

The way I see it those rumors largely depend on US sources, i.e. they are unreliable and probably based on some other agenda such as refreshing the fear of terrorism in order to strip people of further privacy rights.
Nato members should cancel their engagement in Iraq and Afghanistan and let those conflicts be what they are, US wars for which Europe should not pay the price.

They do not live in constant state of paralyzing fear like many in US do. Remember that UK, for example, the IRA used to set off bombs routinely. Maybe Europeans are tougher than many Americans, or maybe they simply know that the chance of being killed by a terrorist is so slim that it is not worth thinking about all day long. Or maybe in US, there is a small segment of the population who are constantly afraid, and they make so much noise that it seems like everyone is trembing in fear. I don't know..... |
