I've been saying for some time now that we've been there too long and we no longer have a clear mission. This sort of thing is what we saw as Viet Nam dragged on and our purpose there became more and more poorly defined. The military should never be used as a peace-keeping force. Its purpose is to kill our enemies, not prop up unstable and unpopular governments.

Till I watched that video I thought that hordes of American drug addicts were killing hundreds of people for sport.

I think there is a chance that not all our soldiers there are as unethical as this thing sounds. I don't think that my foster daughter will be among the killers since she doesn't use drugs and is just not that kind of soldier. It is pretty hard to put that many people in country without a few bad apples being among them and getting together, at that. It sounds to me like they were just a little bit afraid of their immediate commander, the sergeant Gibbs. There are ways to avoid that kind of thing for strong minded people.

Anyway, I am sure glad I watched that video to learn that this is not a wholesale murdering of civilians.

Reading history leads to the conclusion that, for some people, War is the Sport of the Hunter and for others Hunting is the Sport of the warriors.

Fortunately, not all soldiers are infected with this plague.

Those men need to be charged with the crimes and held accountable if they killed innocents.

It starts at the top. When the commander in chief is more concerned with image and how he's going to get out of Afghanistan instead of winning it, that tends to filter down to the enlisted, I think.

The odds are that they were not unethical when they started out.

We need to get out of there, now. We have no business propping up a new government but hey the government is at the behest of the international bankers who control the Federal Reserve, and he who controls the money gets to make the rules
