The title pretty much says it all.

I would like to hear how people justify confiscating money from the people that earn it so that they may give it to those who did not earn it.

Please answer the question only with intelligent and sound responses and remain on topic. Do not turn this into another verbal food fight by throwing out what ever you can think of. Any off subject responses will be considered trolling.

If you think you can intelligently articulate a sound basis for "starvation wages/cheap labor" please do so. If not, don't reply.

HEY! That's what I usally leave for a "TIP" when I go out to eat....

Study hard so you can have a better job...either that of "Plant your corn early"

AS for the OP.....I would ask the reverse question..Why pay top scale for manual labor????
I Believe your view of corperate America is somewhat squewd. Good Companys pay for quaility and production. Hey even the top melon pickers get more then the bottom ones.... Here's another point.
How do I get the Average Super Union Teacher to pay my Daughter more than slave wages to babysit her kids?

If government weren't helping these businesses out in maintaining monpolies and oligopolies, they'd be required to pay higher wages due to market forces.

LOL's you just described government entitlement/give-away programs

Market and competition for labor dictate wages above the mandated minimum.

Would you like to describe what you refer to as starvation wages/cheap labor?
Minimum wage? Lower? At, above or below the gov't set poverty level?
At, above or below the gov't set poverty level adjusted for the region?

Give all the big business dominated Republicans, and more then a few Democrats, enough time and we WILL see a return of child labor, 12 hour days and an end of federal safety and pollution rules. All of these decrease profit and are anathema to the ownership class.
