So if you film a couple having sex in public, you would be committing a crime even if it were evidence of a crime they were committing?

Are there any provisions for this being inside one's own domicile?

Say if one spouse filmed the other withouse consent? How could there even be any evidence presented given of the prohibitions upon spousal testimony against the other?

It was not a 'prank'. It was an extremely cruel and criminal act. I would hope that these creatures are hit with more than mere 'Invasion of Privacy' charges. Civil suits would be appropriate here, too.

What does that matter? No one was having sex in public and clearly it was illegal.

You don't know that. Find the ENTIRE statute on this issue, plus any caselaw that would shed light on it.

Obviously what has been written here is NOT the entire law on the issue because the situations I described couldn't possibly be covered by it, yet would fall into what was written on here.

Truth be told , he killed himself rather than be gay. The sight of a man naked with another man is different than the pictures we have in our heads of gays decorating and helping us pick out clothes.

When did a man ever kill himself over being filmed with a woman ?
You don't know that any more than the rest of us.

Stay on topic.
Really? The the title, look at the top of your screen. Typing goodbye on Facebook, then jumping out a window doesn't signify mental illness?

Again, inference.
Stay on topic.
Mental illness is not the crux of this thread.

I thought you were a lawyer? Allegedly. Perhaps you could use your inside knowledge to show us the ENTIRE statute?

This was a horrible situation, and is very sad. I'm just not sure what the roommate can be prosecuted for. Is it a crime to put a camera in your own room?
Yes, when you are taping someone other than yourself without their permission.
