When health care premiums rise a low of 12% in the next year I don' think many employers are going to be able to keep up. Oh well, when those whose employers manage to keep paying for them start paying income taxes on the money spent by the employers maybe the government can keep us afloat.
McDonald's is a large employer. In Europe, McDonald's pays whatever benefits are mandated. They're just screwing people over here.

Benefits are just that; they are NOT entitlements. Don't like it don't work at or patronize McDonalds or any other eating establishment.

So in Europe the governments legislates the screwing of the people and over here........oops, same thing under Obamacare! Socialists GO AWAY!

People should pay out of pocket for their own medical care, not the employer and not the taxpayer/government, period.

If you're certain of the "full time with benefits" for managers, post a link.

Default Wallmart, McDonalds and the rest of Corporate America

I don't believe in calling for government mandated laws for businesses to provide health insurance. If you feel a particualr business is engaging in unfair practice in such areas, boycott them. Government involvement will only muck it up and ultimately cost the middle class taxpayers.

This new health insurance law sucks big time.
Why not? That is the design of Obamacare- to induce companies to drop insurance, pay the fine (which is cheaper) and increase the government's Obamacare roles. One would have to be an idiot not to do so, as any company that does not do this will be at a competitive disadvantage.

To say that Obama is a fool is of course an understatement.

Insurance, like any other benefit, isn't something you 'get' it's something you earn.

If they're young enough they can stay with their parents insurance and they're usually younger than 26.

Their not 'screwing' anyone. If you want health insurance seek employment with someone that offers it. If no one took jobs at McDonald's because they didn't offer health insurance as a benefit, they'd likely have to start offering it to attract qualified applicants.
