Isn't this the first bill the Republican's haven't filibustered in the Senate? I'm being completely serious--the only one, including routine nominations of mid level bureaucrats, that they haven't tried to block? Amazing...
Kwitcher whinging. The Democrats control the White House, Senate and House. The Republicans can't block anything unless there are Democrats who break rank. Republican obstructionism is a myth.

Kwitcher lying. The makeup of the Senate is 57 Democrats, 41 Republicans and 2 Independents. Hardly the Supermajority needed to avoid Republican filibustering. Republicans not being able to block anything unless there are Democrats who break rank is a myth.

Do you understand how the filibuster process works? The minority party can endlessly debate any bill in the Senate to stop it from coming to a vote unless there are 60 votes to end the debate. The dems have a majority, but they don't have 60 votes. That means they can only move bills out of the Senate with republican support. Filibusters used to be used only in very rare cases, but the republicans have used it for EVERY SINGLE BILL (there might be an exception, but I can't find it) going through the Senate since Obama took office. That's why people are calling them obstructionists.
If you're going to complain about your government, then read a book and learn how it works first.
