Non-farm child labor was virtually non-existent in this country at least 20 years before Wilson took office.
And when people began to migrate from the country to the city, their industrial exploitation began. This was during the period that coincidentally! became known as the Progressive Era.

The Standard Oil monopoly, a product of the rapacious Gilded Age that RWs have been instructed to believe they want back, was broken up and many related reformist laws were put into place during the period that coincidentally!! became known as the Progessive Era -- and they began with progressive means of reform such as muckraking journalism. That journalism virtually defines the Progressive Era, and to this day investigative journalism is feared and maligned by the RW.
It would help to put the word "obsessed" in perspective. What percentage of air time over a long span (say, 1 month) is he devoting to Woodrow Wilson? If it is anything more than 10%, then perhaps the theory is plausible. Otherwise, I would dismiss the allegation as an ADHD-induced kneejerk reaction, commonly combated with some modern medication as prescribed by your doctor.

"For much of the past 70 years, there has been an unwritten rule in U.S. political debate: Avoid Hitler accusations. Once you liken your opponent to the Nazis, any form of rational discussion becomes impossible. But Beck, it seems, has a Nazi fetish. In his first 18 months on Fox News, from early 2009 through the middle of this year, he and his guests invoked Hitler 147 times. Nazis, an additional 202 times. Fascism or fascists, 193 times. The Holocaust got 76 mentions, and Joseph Goebbels got 24."
Obama, Al Gore, and "-- after the fact --" the Bush admin are all Nazis in Beckistan.

Godwin's law does not apply unless you are making a direct accusation of calling someone a "Hitler". Another unwritten rule.
Again, I'm curious as to what % of Beck's discussion is on the bridge between Wilson and Hitler. Also, the historical context of the ominous Fed, regressive concept of an income tax, war reparations that were not satisfiable under any circumstances, and the disintegration of ethnic Magyars (who later allied with Hitler in hopes of claiming some of their lost territory) is undeniable.
Anyways, I think the point you are missing, no surprise there, is that its about learning from history. And the fact that history has shown that it repeats itself in one way or another.
And just so you know, Beck sometimes gets hassled jokingly by his co-hosts for his Wilson "obsession". However, there's a reason for it. Wilson is one of the worst Presidents ever with some of the worst actions/beliefs.

? That wasn't in reference to Godwin's Law.

Does Beck go on about the Maygars, or about the decidedly non-Progressive folks behind the Fed, or the reasons a Fed was created in the first place? Does he talk about the Treaty of Versailles as if there were other govt. leaders there besides Wilson?
And does he tell you that income taxes came into being when Wilson stepped into office?
Beck has created an online "Beck University" to spread his unique views of the past and has hosted "Founders' Fridays" on his television show, devoted to rewriting the nation's early history as that of a fundamentalist state.
When the subject turns, as it usually does, to President Obama, Beck again sees lessons from history. In particular, he has seized upon two individuals who he believes provide excellent historical parallels to the 44th commander in chief: Woodrow Wilson and Adolf Hitler.
You don't understand how Obama is tied to a genocidal monster and to an American president who died 86 years ago? Allow Professor Beck to explain.

Moonbat loons are obsessed with Glen Beck-go figure
The game Beck plays is fascinating.
