I don't see it as a big deal anyway. Its certainly has nothing to do with politics. Maybe the owners of Apple are libs? so what? They market their product to everyone. They are in business to make money first and foremost.

Wow that's a new one, Apple is a necessity like Exxon/Mobil? Now I heard everything
To be honest the only thing I could base my decision was the numbers of jobs. Although their individual position swaping on the S and P would have little consequence to the American public.
And apple as a necessity as Exxon/Mobile is easy. We drive every day we get on the computer every day. In Fact this day and age if either is lost to an individual its chaotic, if they were lost to a society it would unrepairable destroy the economy.
It is hardly a win for California, more like a win for China since apple produces most of its products there. If outsourcing and cheap labor are the liberal way, then of course, Apple being on top is a win for liberalism.
Exxon pays far more to people and pay dividends which are in a number of retirement portfolios, yea, seniors are a large holder of Exxon stock. Apple pays nothing, its average wage base is lower and Exxon generates more wealth. However because it is a "bad" corporation, that doesn't matter. Cult of Apple, libs are sure into their cults.
Another potential win for liberalism (and California).
who cares????
