I hear that argument from those that support fetucide and it makes no sense whatsoever. Abortion is murder,it doesn't stop becoming murder if I adopt or volunteer. Abortion is murder, it doesn't stop becoming murder if I do nothing. Abortion only stops when we as a nation rise up and say, "enough is enough" and put an end to this barbarism, more in line with savages than a civilized society. My actions, or lack thereof have absolutely nothing to do with abortion being murder.
Do you honestly think that if abortion was outlawed that it would magically stop happening? Women have been aborting fetuses for a very, very long time. Passing a law won't stop it, it would just make it more expensive and more dangerous to the women. Only the wealthy would be able to afford safe abortions (yes, even if it were illegal).
If you want to continue using a solely emotional argument, that's fine...just don't expect to change any minds.
Actually, I am probably the most pro-life of everyone posting in this topic. In my mind, pro-life means ALL live, people and animals. The pro-lifers here are probably the most hypocritical bunch of people who I've ever met, a better name for them would be pre-life. Once it's out, who cares about it right? Send 'em off to war!

Other than give birth, what can a woman do that a man can't do if he took an interest in learning whatever it is you're talking about? And other than pee standing up and impregnate a woman, what sorts of things do you think a woman can't do? You misunderstand feminism if you think that's what the movement was all about. Not all women are going to want to drive a front-end loader or take up auto mechanics but for those who do want to do those things, gender shouldn't stand in the way of opportunities to try. By the way, I know how to run a front-end loader. My husband insisted I learn to drive one of his three 'big boy toys'. I didn't like doing it but the other woman he trained loved it and has since started a business and bought a loader of her own. Her husband tried to learn but he wasn't any good at it. We should respect that all people have different skill levels and interests in life and gender shouldn't hold anyone back from a career in what ever area their talents and interests might be in---that goes for both sexes.

I totally agree. He hasn't seen enough of life to form such narrow minded opinions all on his own.

So we should then legalize murder since it still happens, correct? Did you not learn any critical thinking in college?
They haven't lived long enough to have many life experiences and still live with their mommy.
