For Fascism, the growth of empire, that is to say the expansion of the nation, is an essential manifestation of vitality, and its opposite a sign of decadence. Peoples which are rising, or rising again after a period of decadence, are always imperialist; and renunciation is a sign of decay and of death. Fascism is the doctrine best adapted to represent the tendencies and the aspirations of a people, like the people of Italy, who are rising again after many centuries of abasement and foreign servitude.

Sounds like someone we all know who holds a pretty high place in government, no?

Lightbulb Buying Back America

Previously, it has been reported that foreign firms like BP, Shell Oil, and Siemens are active members of the Chamber. But on a larger scale, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce appears to rely heavily on fundraising from firms all over the world, including China, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Russia, and many other places. Of course, because the Chamber successfully lobbied to kill campaign finance reforms aimed at establishing transparency, the Chamber does not have to reveal any of the funding for its ad campaigns. Dues-paying members of the Chamber could potentially be sending additional funds this year to help air more attack ads against Democrats.

Can any America citizen be in favor of this?
OP raises a good point. Let me add to it.
Obama and the Democrats solicited foreign influence on Arizona, thru the UN, Mexico, Venezuela and other counties on 1070, gay rights,
discrimination; and then they cry foul by saying the dept. of
Chamber of Commerce is using foreign campaign money to influence our policies. D_U_H!
Can you see/hear Jeff Foxworthy now? H-E-R-E I-S Y-O-U-R S-I-G-N!!
Apparently the Democrats have never heard of the phrase "GOD works in mysteries ways."
Talking about foreign influence, what about the New York Times?
Have you not heard that the New York Times was bailed out/bought by a Mexican Billionaire on Jan 19, 2009?
NY Times Looks To Billionaire For Bailout - CBS News
Would the underlying reason be, to push the amnesty issue on illegal aliens?
I love how the democrats will tell you something without giving you the whole picture.
They are like thieves (pick pockets) and magicians, they'll give you something in one hand and pick your pockets with the other. Like con-artists, you will not see it, until it is to late.
The fact of the matter is that the democrats are the ones using more foreign campaign money.
As I stipulated earlier: Congress wants us to buy American, and I said we can't because we sold America.
The history books are full of how America was created with "The Louisiana Purchase and such, but I bet it will never cover how we had to buy America back from China, Mexico, etc., because of shame and sheer embarrassment.

I love that he brought the union's "disclosure" form for $90 million bucks, meaning NO disclosure at all.

The democrats, the Left and the media sure weren't worried in 2004, 2006 and 2008 when they were raking in the undisclosed cash.

Bunch of hypocritical whiners and crybabies.

Time to open the blinds. ALL campaign funds should be public record! Only then can we see who is pulling the strings. We vote for the puppet masters by proxy through the puppets, and right now it is largely a blind vote.
