Yes, the failure of the Congress to deal with the AMT tax will cost many a pile of cash and most don't know about it yet. The Congress has been dealing with this little thing for years, one year at a time. They have gone off campaigning already so they won't have a lot of time to pass the normal law to allow this tax hike from taking place. That puts Obama's promise not to hike income taxes in great jeopardy, but then it will be taken care of, or not, after the election. I wonder just what the Democrat dominated Congress will do depending on the outcome of the election.
