Among very stupid regulations are those issued by the FAA requiring ridiculous things to be said and done during the safety briefing prior to each commercial airplane flight. Come on. We all know how to use seat belts. Explaining to passengers how to fasten a seat belt is a huge waste of time. Somebody tell the FAA that seat belts have been standard in cars for the past 40 years or so. While we're at it, somebody tell them that, if the oxygen mask falls down and we put it on, it will be IMPOSSIBLE to "breathe normally." No matter what they tell us, we'll be panting and gasping for every breath under that kind of panic.

As part of the disability act a restaurant owner HAD to upgrade his restrooms to be modified to be handicapped accessible.

His place was on the 3rd floor with very narrow staircases with no elevators. The handicapped don't go to his restaurant.

He closed down because he could'nt affords the remodeling.

This and tort reform, because obviously a state legislature knows better then a jury what the facts of any given case are and what damages should be awarded.

Yeah, we had a situation with a very old courthouse in east Texas. Anytime we had a person in a wheelchair that need to testify, they would wheel the chair in front of the elevated witness stand, take the oath, and then testify.

Then an egghead (I do not recall who, it has been so many years) insisted that the county spend a lot of money to renovate the courtroom so that a person in a wheelchair could be elevated to the witness stand. I mean, they wanted some complicated machinery, lifts, pulleys, you name it, all so the wheelchaired person could be elevated two feet into the witness stand.

Reason (and utter lack of funds) prevailed, and some old carpenter was hired to build a ramp to the stand.

There is a possible 25 years in prison for cutting down a cactus.

Donkeys cannot sleep in bathtubs.

You may not have more than two dildos in a house.
The ban on Camel hunting is working great

Well that does it for me moving to Arizona if my Donkey can't sleep in the tub.

Those are good ones
