Castro came ouf ot retirement after 4 years specifically addressing President Obama and asked him not to nuke Iran. This is the same Castro that asked Khrushchev to unleash a first strike against the USA if Cuba was invaded. Heh. People don't seem to realize how serious this is. I think that's a shame. If Mccain was in White House, the invasion threat against Iran would have been so intensely real , they would fight to the death. Wouldn't we if the reverse was true? We need you home for defense.

Every president since the mid-50s has had an aid who carries the football whenever he's traveling.
Iran has MUCH less total military power than a single US carrier task force. And there's one of those within easy striking distance of Iran at all times. And we have a lot more where they came from. Iran is less of a threat to the US than I am to bin Laden.
As much as I disagree with President Obama I do not think that he would miss uses nuclear power. I would like him to be a moron but he is not. He is also a patriotic man and would not condemn the US to a life of Nuclear society.
MAD (aka Nash Equilibrium) will always dictate nuclear war. We have had many presidents republican and Democrat since August 6th 1945. None have gotten us all killed and this will continue because we disagree but we are not insain.
Believe it or not the war department is prepared for Iran and N. Korea to have nuclear arms well past President Obama and he knows this.
If you want to be worried about President Obama make it a real concern, not his birth certificate or his color or his control of the Football. Be concerned that he wants the American people to be under governmental financial control. That is the real problem.

Defense against Iranian missiles that can come very near getting here? I doubt old Ford could do much good since the weapons Iamajihad says he will have soon.
I guess you are young enough that you don't know why the Soviets turned those ships around when Kennedy told them he would start shooting if they didn't. I am saying that I don't think you understand why the US and the USSR never went at it with nukes. Don't know, I think, that both knew the other had enough nuclear weapons to destroy the Earth and they just threatened all the time but weren't stupid enough to shoot. I don't think that Ahmadinejad has enough sense to realize that we can turn his country into one slick piece of glass any time Obama gets ready to do it.

Surely you are right but you have enough sense to know that you can't whipbin Laden and I don't think that Ahmadinejad has that much sense.

I think it was PBS had a show about the "football", I forget which President but I think it was Reagan... They got separated at some event in Washington and the guy holding it ended up walking like 10 blocks back to the White House with it.
