No. I was just saying, it already is disallowed. My point is there's no reason to get in a snit about it and go on for ten pages.

Too difficult to manage.
It would be better to hammer those who sell their food stamps or trade them.
Also hammer the businesses that also scam the system. Make the fines hefty enough and that will remove the insentive to cheat.

Amazing Was the turkey really big? Were there options for a smaller portion at that price?

The only turkey I could find that was 29 cents a lb. was 40 lbs. and I swear it had hair on the drumsticks rather than feathers. I guess people already bought all the small ones.

Now THAT is some cheap protein.

Cheaper than mouse meat.

There seemed to be all sizes in the freezer; I was looking for a big turkey, so I got an 18-pounder. I did see 12 and 13 pound turkeys. Gonna get another one tomorrow. They have hams for $1.37/lb this week, too, so I'm picking one of those up as well.

40 pounds??? My roasting pan holds a 20 pound bird, so I don't go over that. I have never even SEEN a 40 pound turkey!

Quit yer talkin' turkey, you're making me hungry!!

I believe food stamps should go the way of WIC, & that cookies, pop, candy, etc., not be allowed. I have seen SO many people take advantage of it, & babies w/ Mountain Dew in their bottles are NOT a pretty sight, trust me.
