Countdown with Keith Olbermann 7-3-07 seems to have hit the nail on the head with his “special comment” today. This one is an earful and I’d say the best he has ever done.

Olbermann: Bush, Cheney should resign - Countdown with Keith Olbermann - MSNBC.com

“I didn’t vote for him, but he’s my president, and I hope he does a good job.”

I watched it as it happened -- it was chilling. All I could think of was, how will they feel when they see it? Then I realized, Bush will not be aware of it and Cheney will say it's a terrorist plot.

I’m going to try and record a DVD on it later tonight, a few friends of mine don’t have access to the show and I know they will like the comments

If Bush hadn't done that, then Libby would have squealed and let everyone know that Cheney had ordered the outing of a CIA operative to get back at her husband for dissing the Iraq war. What do you expect?

I'm glad someone like Keith is able to be on TV now. To bad he (or anyone like Keith) wasn't around in the runup to the war.

So, you're the guy that watches that show. I was wondering who it was.

I love his remarks and he speaks the truth (almost all the time).
However, I cringe when he does his comments like tonite since it is only a matter of time before Rove puts pressure on GE/MSNBC and he's off the air too.

Whenever O'Reilly starts bloviating on some worthless issue, I switch to Olbermann for about 17.9 seconds, roll my eyes, and switch back to C-SPAN.

I LOVE Keith Olberman...I think he's kind of sexy but if he did that throwing paper thing at home that would get old, quick.

Lisa:

Funny story - last year when my husband's sub set for sea I took the kids from SEattle to NYC to do some college shopping. We were just walking out of 30 Rockefeller Center when I looked up and saw this HUGE head and massive shoulders and I almost got whiplash when I turned to the kids and said 'It's Keith!!!!'

I turned back around and by this time he was about 2 feet in front of me wearing his standard blazer and - wait for it - camping shorts!!! It was a pretty funny scene. I said "Keith" at which point he looked down at me like a deer caught in the headlights - I could tell he was in a hurry so I said "you don't have to stop, but you should know - WE LOVE YOU!!!!"

The man has probably been looking over his shoulder ever since :-)

My kids still give me a hard time about that, but I didn't want to bug him - just to let him know that he sustains some of us!
