Very informative article by Sean Wilentz. Not so much about Glenn Beck, but more about Mr. Beck's influences, such as the John Birch Society and W. Cleon Skousen.
I'll take media outlets like this more seriously when they start reporting on Obama's Socialist and Communist mindset and his ties to radical terrorists.
The media should consider the revelation of Obama's influences and who surrounds him, the more important story.
Looking at the forms my dad had to sign when he was an ammunition handler for an Army ammo depot, you come to realize most of Obama's appointees and czars would not be eligible for federal employement. The questions about communist and facist associations would preclude them from ever holding a government job.
Apparently Beck is considered more influential than Obama.
