2nd, we are STILL spending money in Iraq.. Just because Obama said we left doesnt mean we have.. There are 50,000+ troops still there and they will be for ages..

3rd, if you move them from Iraq to Afghanistan, your STILL SPENDING the money

And finally, you didnt respond at all to what I said
They were not moved from Iraq to Afghanistan... The soldiers in Iraq went home where they belong...

Hello : Obviously you're not paying attention. They did not all come home.

US Military Likely to Remain in Iraq for Many Years

By peacepundit
August 31 was the deadline for withdrawing US combat troops from Iraq. Although President Obama says he achieved that goal, over 50,000 regular troops remain there, nominally providing training and support. They are however, armed and will accompany the Iraqi military on some missions. About 5000 special forces troops also remain there, helping Iraqi forces find and capture or kill insurgents.

WRONG...

U.S. Troops in Iraq Now Below 50,000 Target - FoxNews.com

Under Obama's plan, American forces will no longer conduct combat operations but are instead to train Iraqi troops and help with counterterrorism operations — if asked for by the Iraqis.

Get your story right. You posted, " They came home from Iraq THIS YEAR... Hello 2010?"

I showed that not ALL came home as you stated.

And I'm sure you didn't read the article I posted.

"About 5000 special forces troops also remain there, helping Iraqi forces find and capture or kill insurgents".

Which proves you are wrong on 2 points. They all did not come home AND troops are still conducting combat operations.

What exactly is your point? By YOUR OWN POSTING now, there are about 50,000 troops in Iraq.. which is EXACTLY what was posted and you claimed we were wrong.. It costs money to be there does it not? Do you think there is no cost with 50,000 people being in Iraq? And the number of troops in Afghanistan WENT UP (pretty much doubled).. Which beggs me to ask again, WHATS YOUR POINT.. You keep telling us were wrong and then posting links validating we're right..

I never said ALL... They are there for assistance to Iraqi Army... ALL "combat operations" have ceased... as pointed out specifically in the link I provided...
