Well, I'll give that one a shot... I think it's perfectly okay to talk about black and white issues. I think it's perfectly alright to be respectfully critical of other's cultural "situation". I think the nitpicking is where it goes over the line. It's perhaps not so much nitpicking with ethnicity being the subject, but more a political nitpicking with a kind of vague racial subtext. What's next, Obama coughs on camera and therefore he's got AIDS?

Obama made an informal comment and it's taken to mean far more than it was ever intended. I mean, are such things really worthy of threads? But don't get me wrong, the whole forum is based on such antics. And such things get thrown in every direction. So if you ask me, there's actually two angry bunches. And who knows, I might start a third.

1) The twisted obsession that far too many (backwards and bigoted) C-Ders have with "Blackness" is ignorantly expressed in the form of the daily obligatorty "Why do Black people...." thread topic.

2) Actually, Presidet Obama is biracial.

3) I will comment on whatever I decide needs my opinion.

Did you bother listening to the clip. This thread is bs, Obama never said that. I never heard him use the word "Blacks" in the video. Maybe it slipped past me, but I doubt it.
