Ok, so then can gays stop trying to tell straights about what being straight is like ?
Incorrect logic. Gay people can imagine what being straight is like and straight people can imagine what being gay is like. Both sides can correct the other when the perceptions are inaccurate. I don't know any gay people who do what you describe.
What straight people can never know for certain is whether or not being gay is a choice, so any claims to that effect are unsupportable. Only gay people would know the answer and it is a resounding NO.
If I look at your statement in a different way, then perhaps we should also demand that straight people stop trying to tell gay people what being gay is like. Maybe that's a better resolution. Despite my few decades old heterosexual experiences, I could never pass Straight 101 in college!
I can't believe anyone still thinks that some people choose to be gay. You'd have to be at least one of the following in order to believe that people consciously choose their sexual orientation:
1. Oblivious to reality and science
2. A religious, moralistic nutcase
3. An anti-gay jerk with a low IQ
Obama is not against gay marriage. I think he has too say he is Christian and against gay marriage because if he said otherwise, he knows it would not be good for him. We live in a time and day where (sadly) most of the people in the USA still believe in sky daddy and denying gay rights. I honestly think he is an atheist to be honest. I also think he is ok with gays getting married.
I don't know it is just a vibe.
I know some users have said they felt the same. Anyone else? I can see why he would have to say he is a Christian and against gay marriage.
No that would be Christianity and religion in general (which incidentally, are also a choice).
Then the majority of Americans have it since that is the religion of the majority but yes the Obama administration wants to think that is true, especially when they lose by a landslide come Nov.
Are you saying anyone who thinks being gay is not a choice and is still against gay marriage must be gay? Like if you disagree with me then you are a homophobe.

i'll agree with that and the only time a politician lies is when his/her lips move
