Ohhhhh.....dear.

I guess they didn't heed the advice of fellow dems who did not like this desperation strategy - the can is open, the worms are flowing out.

Democrats have raised $1 million from foreign-affiliated PACs - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room

Quote:
Democratic leaders in the House and Senate criticizing GOP groups for allegedly funneling foreign money into campaign ads have seen their party raise more than $1 million from political action committees affiliated with foreign companies.

“Barack Obama criticized the Supreme Court and his adversaries over the bogus charge of foreign money tainting elections – while leaders in his own party had taken more than a million dollars from the foreign cookie jar,” said Jonathan Collegio, a spokesman for American Crossroads, the political group at the center of the controversy.

"In 2008, the president benefited from $400 million worth of spending by outside groups on his behalf in the presidential campaign, most of whom did not reveal their donors," Rove said Tuesday on Fox News.
Perfectly fine for the democrats - money for me, not for thee.

Expose them all. I don't think you will find many, if any, Dems that would oppose that.

Absolutely. The whole process of funding elections needs to be completely reformed.

Well, why didn't they offer to do so in 2006 and 2008? Why weren't you and others demanding they disclose in 2006 and 2008?

It is only because the GOP is outraising the dems in this election cycle that the dems and obama are whining crying and wailing.

Actually, I'll edit the above; I do believe the dems are still pulling in more money.
