You are claiming that the, "Drill Baby Drill" clan would not have allowed this drilling?

So right.

But they're the ones who hire people using company profits instead of taxpayers' dollars.

More Americans would be working.

Didn't pan out under Bush. Remember, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda... who cares what might have happened? I care about what did happen and who is responsible. I'm not stupid enough to spread blame around to people who weren't in any control when something horrible took place. Democrats controlled Congress and the White House during the approval of that well and Democrats also controlled everything during the largest oil spill in US history. Democrats just lifted the ban on deep water drilling. Drill Obama drill!

Sort of like Democrats trying to spend their way out of losing control of everything.

A codicil of that definition is conflating the past with the present. Bush and McCain are not the same person.

However, if you must revisit the Bush years, keep in mind that unemployment was under 6% during the Bush years vs. Obamas what? Nine-plus?

Hope and change has become nope. And strange.
