New numbers posted today on the Treasury Department website show the National Debt has increased by more than $3 trillion since President Obama took office.
The National Debt stood at $10.626 trillion the day Mr. Obama was inaugurated.
Stands at $13.665 TRILLION right now.
But that's not the good news;
Quote:
The Administration has projected the National Debt will soar in Mr. Obama's fourth year in office to nearly $16.5-trillion in 2012.
So...how's that fiscal responsibility and HopeNChange working now?
So how much longer can we expect the whiner-in-chief to continue to blame his predecessor? All the way to 2012, baby!
According to liberals George W Bush's deficit spending got us in this trouble. It only makes sense to a liberal that Barack Obama giving us more deficit spending will fix it.
It's kinda like when I showed up to my first A.A. meeting. They told me in order to cure my alcoholic problem I need to drink more...No wait...They didn't tell me that at all.

60% of us are going to vote in November as if wasting money we do not have is NOT a valid economic policy. This is a huge problem for Democrats.
Nice find, sanrene.
I just took the report of this one by Fox as true but am glad to see that CBS has told the truth about it. Someone in the MSM has to get something like this one right now and then. I bet ABC won't ever tell us about this one.

Well, we know if this were Bush, it would be the lead story on every morning/evening news show for at least 2 days.
Had Bush or any Republican been in office during this time, the national debt would likely be $6 trillion!
This debt is a reflection of two factors:
1) Bush's actions that turned a SURPLUS into a record deficit.
2) Obama's efforts to deal with the RESIDUAL damage caused by Bush's 8 years in office.
Unfortunately, the government must spend its way out of Bush's horrific economic damage. It's the price we pay for clueless Pubs having Bush in office for two terms.
Thank God Obama here till 2016 to address this mess.
