If the government just pass out the stimulus money to the people who loss their job, each will get more than 400k, but yet, after $2 trillions spent, no job to show. The money goes into banks and unions and that's it. Fvck everyone else.
AND, if he for real? Claiming Obama is doing a good job. Less bad is a new good? He is in the office for 2 years, with full support from the house and senate and he did nothing to improve the country. NOTHING!

You're confusing the Obama backed stimulus with TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) - part of Bush's Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 that gave all that money to the banks and other financial institutions.

It's amazing how people in this country 1) don't pay attention, and 2) apparently believe in magic.
When Obama took office, the economy was in the worst condition it had been in since the Great Depression. No one could possibly have completely turned it around in merely 21 months.
Throughout his presidential campaign, Obama constantly said the economy would get worse before it got better, and that the recovery was a long process that would be measured in years, not months.
It's on it's way back up, and I think Obama is doing a great job - as good as anyone else could have.
The Stimulus prevented a full blown Depression and helped turn the Economy around in the right direction. Private Sector jobs have been growing for 9 mos. Not as rapidly as needed, but eminately better that what was happening. The only valid argument against the Stimulus in total, is that it was not large enough. There are some specific areas where the Stimulus was less than effective, but the preponderance of the package was very valuable. Denying those realities, does not change the realities.
The stimulus did no such thing. The economy stopped crashing well before Obama passed the stimulus. In fact there was questions if the stimulus was even needed because the crashing stopped and the Democrats moved forward claiming this would help a recovery. WRONG on both counts.. Stimulus didnt stop the crash, nor has it helped a recovery. Pretending it did is whats not reality.

Actually it was loaned to banks and financial institutions, and most of that money has been returned back to the taxpayers (respent by Obama) and with profits..

Which category do you fit into?

Your not claiming the economy has turned around nor has anyone else. your claim is that unemployment numbers have improved due to Obama based upon that "magic" posted above. Its DEMOCRATS claiming they've turned things around, we're just pointing out how ridiculous their claims (and thereby yours from this thread)

And the minute Obama got into office he started whining about how its worse than he had thought it was.. The problem with your "years" synopsis is that liberal policies take years.. The great depression spending had the EXACT same effect the current administration spending had.. decades of 10% unemployment.
If it failed then, then it'll fail now.. Some dont learn from histtory it seems, which would put you into the category 1 above, those that dont pay attention..

NOTHING is on its way back up. There will be over 100,000 home foreclosures in the coming months, unemployment around 10%, no one is hiring, unemployment keeps getting extended, tax increases on those that hire causing less jobs.. Care to list ANYTHING on its way back up?
This recession has been in the making for years. Both sides are to blame, but of course it's much easier to point fingers at each other. What Obama did accomplish is preventing a full blown depression, although I think it's pretty certain McCain would have passed a similar stimulus. With all our jobs going abroad ever since NAFTA, what other choice would he have?
It's a hopeless pit of debt that can never be paid back. Never will be. Start counting to a trillion Obama supporters and see how long it takes. Hint, if you started when you were a Neanderthal you'd just be getting there now. And he just keeps adding to it.
ps: remember all recessions run their course, but because of this administration this one has taken longer and will cost the tax payers more than I want to even think about. Yes, Thanks Obama!!!

That is simply not true.
