By definition, all Jews should be conservative Republicans, if for no other reason than for the sake of their continued existence. The fact that the left aligns itself with radical Islam should be enough to persuade Jews to vote Republican because ultimately the Communist left-wing Democrats will be the Jews' undoing should they allow radical Islam to succeed in bringing about a second Jewish Holocaust. Do Jews not realize that by voting Dem they're essentially voting themselves back into the gas chambers? Thoughts?
Just confused about helping the poor, and the government's job to take care of the poor and needy.
Surviving the Holocaust made them sensitive to injustice, so sensitive that hey shoot themselves in the foot.
So many of the Jewish prayers are about NOT needing financial help, or any other help being self reliance, and making a living without needing the help of others, that maybe somehow they look at the government helping as a responsibility.
Also, surviving the Holocaust made them so sensitive to suffering of other minorities that they sometimes shoot themselves in the foot.
Jewish people voting for democrats goes back to the 1930's. New York City-FDR-New deal. They retire, move to West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami but still think the same way. Obamacare kills their Advantage plan, removes $500 billion from medicare, no S.S. cola, and they still vote for democrats.

Most Jews don't relay on the government, but on themselves. They study hard, work hard, and succeeds. Somehow they are worried about those that don't have they same opportunities, and want the government to help them.
In so many conversation I had with my liberal Jewish friends, they always say, "yes, you can sit and help your kids, but what about those people who can't help their kids at school, they need more help- from he school".
I agree they might need more help, but not from the government.

Of particular interest is their support of FDR who was no friend of the Jews.

Many Jews believe that everyone should have equal opportunity for success, and we have a responsibility to help the have nots and those who are in need even if it means some sacrifices by the haves and have mores. Education is also important to many Jews, and the whole if your educated then you are some sort of elitist likely doesn't sit well. Nor does trying to teach things like Creationism as Science. The southern Evangelical style takeover of the GOP doesn't exactly sit well either.

The real question is, why do poor Whites vote for the Republicans? The Republicans use poor Whites (ones who either have fundamentalist Christian beliefs or bigoted tendencies or both) as their foot soldiers yet the Republican policies do absolutely NOTHING to better the lives of the poor Whites. The Repubs just use them to get into power then proceed to make the fat cats' pockets even thicker while attempting to balame all of society's ills on the "colored" folk. Sad.....and dumb.
