NPR = Politically Correct (as long as it slants to the left)

Therefore Juan Williams is not allowed to have an opinion that does not represent the SAME VIEWS as NPR.

Pathetic.

What is the "left" slant on bigotry?

The timing smells fishy given that George Soros has launched an all out attack on Fox News and since Juan is a Fox contributor. Is the firing of Juan Williams related to the $5 million dollars George Soros just gave to NPR?

Did George Soros in effect have Juan Williams fired? Is George Soros using his money to buy the media via tha back door in a battle to control the conversation in this country?
Exactly my thoughts, although with a much smaller question mark. Soros has also recently donated a huge chunk of money to the Huffington Post and don't forget his "gift" to Media Matters this week. Now, if he can just accomplish his goal of destroying Fox News...

Freedom of Speech? Pretty important right, don't you think!

I certainly hope the Silent Majority speaks up on this one and all the others that are sure to be coming...

Liberal tolerance only extends to their views...

If he had said "christians make me nervous" he'd be getting and NPR award right now..

The left is incredibly intolerant of any other opinoin than their own.

And you'll see libs equating what he said to Helen Thomas, who called for ethnic cleansing jews from israel. He said muslims make him nervous. Helen Thomas calls for ethnically cleansing 6 million people to countries they aren't even from.

Fired from NPR .
He is the best guy they have.
The truth gets you fired , shame.
I agree and I am so sick and tired of "PC". I may not always agree with him, in fact I probably disagree more than agree, but he is a nice guy or seems to be and these types of actions are getting out of hand. The libs beleive in free speech as long as it is the speech they want to hear.

juan williams is a stand up guy, and even though i disagree with him politically, i have high respect for him. what is becoming of this country where people cant even tell the truth of how they feel without having to worry about being fired from their job?

O"Reilly just announced on Fox That they will be making an issue of this and call for taxpayer money to stop going to NPR. He also said Whoopie is talking on The View about how outrageous this is.

Hope they require an independent auditor of the NPR books.

Does Juan Williams really get "nervous" when he sees a "Muslim" looking person?

and does Juan really believe that Times Sq. "bomber" speaks for Muslims?

Quote:
The Pakistani immigrant who tried to detonate a car bomb on a busy Saturday night in Times Square accepted a life sentence with a smirk Tuesday and warned that Americans can expect more bloodshed at the hands of Muslims.
Times Sq. bomber sentenced, warns of more attacks - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_times_square_car_bomb - broken link)

I thought Juan had more going on than that.
