What's so hard to understand about that?

If you don't understand that America has been a target by terrorists for the last 30 years, you have been sleeping under a rock all this time.

But what about the electric grid ?

They won't come back for more planes..we got EVERYONE guarding the airports now making sure WE are not terrorists.

Since when have you seen a tanker rush a building at 500 mph ?

Unless the terrorists plan to take out over 100 different power plants at the same time, even that would be futile and a waste.

Oh, OK, I thought they hated us for our freedoms, or something.

I think the American Government hates us for our freedoms.

Consider that one of the major power failures that effected the entire east coast was caused by a tree limb falling on a line in the upper midwest, which triggered a surge which kept surging. Our electric grid is so much in need of fixing it wouldn't actually take a plot to shut a big chunk of it down.

Or water, what if the canal that brings water to socal from nocal was shut down? Unless you live there you might not know just how critical that is but most of socal is a desert with multple millions living in it. No canal, no water....

Infrastructure damage would be a huge effect which if they knew the weak spots (and there are plenty, take your pick) would take quite a while to fix. Eventually these weak spots will go even if not helped along.

Biggest case of evidence-spoliation in history, but for the library at Alexandria.

Apparently, it will take yet another 9-11 for people to change their mind about the body scanners.

“Better freedom with danger than peace with slavery.”

I opt out of the 'nudity can'. Then I request a LEO present for the pat down (yes, you can do that). They make things a pain in the ass, so return the favor.

Those scanners are potentially quite intrusive...

I guess you didn't read the comments of the first one. Maybe you should. That first one was not a result of scanner but it is of a negative from a normal camera.
