If spending 4X the rate of Bush (who was a fiscal liberal) is a good thing, I would hate to see a "bad" democratic president. This thread just goes to show that the liberals do not want fiscal solvency or what is best for the nation. All they want is a democrat in the White House and results simply do not matter to them. Only a fool would suggest that Obama's fiscal policy is anything more than financial lunacy. But then again, a liberal might suggest such things.

PS- We are still in Iraq and the Afghan war has escalated. Sorry to break the bad news to you.

Actually, you need to take your own advice. The Democrats' own investigative report proves you wrong. The Dems are the ones who've been lying to you. How long are you going to let them manipulate you like that?

Let's look at the Dems' quotes that predate 2000:

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
--Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
--Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by:
-- Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
-- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

The Dems have manipulated and lied to you.

Criticize the Bush spending policies all you want. It's in the past. Nothing can be done about it now.

Funny, the left wing said Bush running up the debt created an economic collapse. Then they say that Obama running up even higher debts will create economic prosperity.

Democrats are either liars or hypocrites. Take your pick.

Yes they have.

Only reason democrats were "against" being in Iraq was because Republicans were in charge. That means corporations that support Republican candidates got all the nice govt contracts.

Now that the Dems are in charge and they get to pick the corporate winners they are all for the war.

Even expanded the sucker in Afghanistan so their cronies could make more money.

President 0bama is just following the plan for an Iraq drawn down time period, that was signed by George Bush.

The status of forces agreement (SOFA) between Iraq and the United States, establishes that U.S. combat forces will withdraw from Iraqi cities by June 30, 2009, and all U.S. forces will be completely out of Iraq by December 31, 2011.

As to the stimulus saving the economy, there simply is no evidence of this. Democrats were trying to make that claim back in 2009, when only about $100 billion was allocated, not actually put into use, just allocated.
