Neither did thes people on this video. (in fact, unless one knows what Republicorp is, the sign she was carrying looks like it's PRO Rand.) What they did is take down a woman who charged at their candidate from behind.
From the video, it appears she was quite some distance away from Rand. I'll agree that if someone appears to be a threat, they should be restrained. That video clearly shows strong-arming that was all out of proportion to any "threat" that woman presented.
There's no excuse for the behavior of those creeps.

What possible relevance could polls have to this topic? It doesn't matter if Paul is 20 points ahead or 20 points behind. Nor does it matter if the woman who was assaulted is from MoveOn, SarahPac, or the Westboro Baptist Church. Violence against women is never acceptable..
