Excuses? If there is a tell all book written by someone of SUBSTANCE, then I'll read it and if I'm wrong, I'll eat crow. No big deal...I've been wrong in the past before and I'm sure I'll be wrong in the future.

And your conclusion ignores the times we've 'chatted' before on C-D. Your post was indeed very funny. I don't support Obama on some issues but he's better than anyone the right is proposing. I believe practically everything we are told is a lie and that we are all living on a prison planet, soon to be subjected to extraordinary war and control all designed to overwhelm us into submission. But I also know from recent experience that being dragged down into the divisiveness is a major part of the plan. I choose not to participate. We either create solutions and ignore the intentional chaos, or we fall right into their hands. It's a choice, a difficult one for many.
Yawn...Old OLD Internet jibberjabber. For one thing, in Obama's first book, he goes into detail about exploring all political positions while in college, so becoming friendly with a Marxist shouldn't come as any huge surprise. But does that prove that Marxism is the road he chose? Hardly.

That still proves zilch. Bernie Sanders, I-VT, is still a Socialist yet has consistently won election after election on the Democratic ticket. Plenty of people (both parties) attended Sanders' rallies in Vermont, but that hardly means those attendees were all "Socialists" too.
Ironically, that meeting described in the link sounds like more of those are needed TODAY. Seems nobody but Democrats care about our abysmal quality of education and the junk passing as a high school education these days.
We knew many disturbing things about him long before the 2008 elections.
