Lil' Bush saw to that.....in spades!
However, McCain MIGHT have made the race tighter, a lot tighter if:

A) Kept to his core values, instead of appeasing the far right
B) Palin
C) Palin
D) Palin

You betcha.....Steve
I'm sure the RNC intended to sit this one out. Let the Ds do the cleanup and take the blame, then sweep in carried by their short-memoried, pinheaded plankton, ah, supporters.

LMAO@ a lot of this nonsense said in hindsight.
Wrong.

Hillary would have been smart enough to govern from the center, like her husband.

Hillary doesn't want to destroy the U.S., the way Obama does.

No.

"Of all groups" a collective. Not all within the collective are going to give their most precious right -- to vote -- the thought that some of their peers will. I don't know how you can generalize that all students will give the most thought to what their vote will do. 18, 19, 20 year olds are living in the here and now -- they aren't looking as far ahead as someone 10 or 20 years older might.

Take a large state run university in the suburbs of one of the largest cities in the world.
Bring in inner city youths, whose education is being subsidized by the taxpayers of that state. Add the hipsters and the rebels.
Show them two Democratic candidates -- one black, young, hip and the other older, white and experienced.
Guess who they gravitate toward in the primary?
Do you think that would change in the Presidential election?

Every one of those criticisms that i laid out (with the obvious exception of the "woman" thing) was leveled against Bill Clinton too...yea..the guy who you claimed governed from the center.

No it wasn't. Hillary came with too much baggage that would have been used against her in the general election---namely Bill's scandals---especially when we Democrats had another viable candidate who could (and did) win. That's why she lost the primaries.

I agree with most of what you said but I disagree that Hillary doesnt want to remake America into her leftist ideal same as Obama.

"White guilt" exists, but I think it had little or nothing to do with Obama's election.

The stupidest people walking the face of the earth are people in their late teens and early 20's! They think they know EVERYTHING when in reality they know NOTHING! They are easily the most ignorant voters in any election cycle.
